Sending mail is going to take a couple more pennies out of your pocketbook, so says the U.S. Postal Service. A new series of American stamps will soon be making their way on international mail and parcels, including blooming flowers, Air Force One, wildlife, various landscapes and famous women.

Beginning May 14 first-class mail will be increased to $0.41, up $0.02 from the current price. Locally, Hagatna Bay will be represented on the new stamps on sale June 1, showing a scenic landscape of Guam's capitol village.
