Work still needs to be done in order for the Guam Public School System to formally request for a re-inspection of the gymnasiums at the Benavente and Agueda Johnston middle schools. GPSS spokesperson Gerry Cruz says the areas cited for electrical issues at AJMS in Ordot still need to be assessed by the Department of Public Works.

School officials are working to clean the tiles in the shower rooms and are currently waiting for the arrival of the showerheads. Meanwhile, Cruz said cosmetic work continues in Dededo at Benavente Middle School. School officials are waiting to install minor things like doors and dispensers.

There's still been no word given on when GPSS plans to call for a re-inspection.
