Shirley's Coffee Shop owner dies

A pioneer and icon in the restaurant business has passed away. Shirley Lai, known to many as "Mama Shirley" died Saturday peacefully in her sleep surrounding by her children and grandchildren. Shirley founded and operated four Shirley's Coffee Shops in Guam and Saipan and was known for many charitable contributions to the community.

Last respects will be held this Saturday at the Guam Memorial Park in Leyang, Barrigada beginning at 10 in the morning.
