New changes at Paradise Fitness Center

Guam - Residents up north will have the opportunity to enjoy a new and improved fitness facility. President of Paradise Fitness Center and Fitness Solutions Tony Sgro says he first opened up the center in Dededo back in 1996. Since then, more and more individuals have signed up for memberships in the ever growing population up north.

Since the number of clients has gone up, Sgro says it was then when he decided to make some upgrades. "Bottom line is that we knocked out our aerobics room adding another thousand square feet to the existing gym and we moved the aerobics room to a building I own on the side of a larger aerobics room of approximately 1,800-2,000 square feet of aerobics room," he said.

Paradise Fitness has added even more cardio equipment for members. Ten additional treadmills were moved in, while another three big flat screen 50-inch TVs were placed for people to enjoy while working out.

All in all, Sgro says it's all about making clients happy not only at their larger branch in Hagatna, but in Dededo, too. "It's demographics and it's all about convenience, so the Dededo location is usually for people who live up in this area. It's a totally different clientele then what we have up in agana. At the end of the day, they're all Paradise members, and we want to give them what they deserve."

Sgro says with more and more people becoming more health conscious, he says in the near future, Guam could see yet another Paradise Fitness location. "We're looking the possibility of another location. We're in the process of putting together a business plan together and that should be coming pretty soon," he said.
