Guam - Sandra Garrido Quinata, 43, of Merizo, was arrested Sunday for official misconduct and failure to report child abuse. GPD Spokesperson Officer Allan Guzman stated two female minors were reported to be beyond control.

During the investigation, police discovered the minors had been victims of child abuse by a person known to them. Quinata, a CPS social worker, allegedly failed to report the abuse. Quinata was booked and released.

Arrested for the reported abuse were Renee Troy Mafnas Basquez, 18, and Dorothy Mafnas Basquez, 53. Both were booked and confined for family violence and child abuse. Basquez was also charged with criminal sexual conduct and jurisdiction over an adult.
