Books, backpay top education board's agenda
Guam - The Guam Education Policy Board is scheduled to meet this evening to not only talk about issues of backpay for about 1,800 public sector teachers from 2003, but they will also be discussing the adoption of textbooks. The General Services Agency placed a hold on textbook orders, saying the Department of Education needed to make changes to its policies and procedures.
Also on the agenda include the board union support staff contract negotiations. The meeting is set for tonight at the DOE Conference Room in Hagatna.
