Guam - 2011 budget hearings began today for the University of Guam and the Guam Community College. Lawmakers are expected to go line-by-line for all Government of Guam agencies from May through June.

UOG touched up on student success and enrollment, as well as academic quality and institutional effectiveness. They also outlined their three strategic initiatives: UOG Green, Natural Choice, and Leading Change.

Hearings continue on Monday where the 30th Guam Legislature will hear from the Guam Public Library System, and the Guam Board of Accountancy.
