Guam - Various concerns were raised at the first-ever Marina User Group meeting. The group discussed the ongoing efforts to fund the construction and proposed upgrades for both the Agana and Agat marinas. One concern was raised by Fisherman's Co-Op president Manny Duenas as to who has access to view the security cameras in Agana, as plans are now moving forward to install security cameras at the Agat facility.

Operator of the security system and Agana Marina tenant Frank Quinata explained why only a few people such as the port and police are granted access, saying, "For security reasons, we don't want everybody to be viewing it because if they know what's going on then they have the chance to do something. So if we put it all wide open there might be a possibility somebody might tamper with it."

The Marinas User Group was created to better serve the marina tenants as well as the island's recreational, sustenance and commercial boating communities.
