Guam - Department of Corrections Officer Abraham Santiago is preparing to take his adverse action to the Civil Service Commission.  Santiago is fighting the possibility of termination for speaking to the media while he was supposed to be at his post, watching the perimeter of the Mangilao facility.

Santiago took issue with DepCor Director J.B. Palacios questioning why he was never told about a death threat that specifically named him and the warden.  The officer has retained an attorney and is now preparing to appeal the adverse action that was issued to him last week.
