"You Again" is a comedy about Marni (Kristen Bell), a successful PR professional who has returned to her home town for her brother's wedding. Little does she know, but her brother is marrying her high school arch rival. But that isn't the only female rivalry happening in the film -- Marni's mom (Jamie Lee Curtis) and hotel mogul Aunt Ramona (Sigourney Weaver) also have loose ends to tie up in their rocky friendship.

It is a shame that "You Again" couldn't have been edited a little better. The content is quite funny and the cast is very strong. The problem is in its delivery. Some of the punch lines are just set up poorly so when the climax of the jokes eventually comes around, they don't seem to have the thunder to get the audience excited.

As a whole, "You Again" is a story of how people change. While the message is very simple the film fails to really get this point across effectively. Nevertheless, the movie offers a consistent set of laughs. However, you may want to wait for this to hit the video stores first.

2 out of 5 stars.
