Guam - There is an alarming increase in the amount of foster children on Guam. Child Protective Services licensing social worker Cindy Chugrad says to date they have more than 200 foster children with only 20 licensed foster parents. She encourages the community to get involved, as foster parents play a huge role in ensuring foster children have better lives.

She told KUAM News, "[We get] a lot of positive feedback from them a lot of them say that without the foster parents they wouldn't be who they are today or where they are at. It seems like with our licensed foster parents the put the foster children on the right path.
