Guam - The island's mayors held their 2011 induction ceremony for its officers of the Mayors Council of Guam this morning. Governor Eddie Calvo was on hand to swear in the officers. Dededo mayor Melissa Savares will retain her position as president, with Sinajana vice mayor Robert Hoffman vice president, Agat mayor Carol Tayama secretary, Inarajan mayor Franklin Taitague treasurer and Hagatna mayor John Cruz as sergeant-at-arms.

The induction ceremony was held at Tutujan Park in Agana Heights.
