Guam - On Friday afternoon, expect the Legislature's Public Hearing Room to be packed to capacity, as a pair of pro-life bills introduced by Governor Eddie Calvo will go up for public scrutiny.

Bill 51 would establish the Unborn Child Act of 2011. The measure proposes to outlaw abortions for women who have reached their 20th week of pregnancy. Bill 52 would require informed consent for abortion and would be called the Woman's Reproductive Health Information Act. Similar legislation was vetoed by former governor Felix Camacho.

The hearing on these two measures starts at 4pm Friday.
