Guam - The rising cost of fuel has resulted in United Continental Airlines' decision to suspend its Guam-Nadi-Honolulu service. According to United Continental Holdings' Asia/Pacific Corporate Communications Director Koji Nagata, services will be suspended beginning September 25.

The suspension of the service is part of Continental's capacity cuts in response to recent increases in the cost of fuel. Continental currently operates two weekly flights on the Nadi-Guam route and a weekly Nadi-Honolulu service. Neither continental nor united have any plans to suspend service on any other routes in the Asia-Pacific Region.
