Guam - Christopher Woodrome appeared in the Superior Court of Guam late Tuesday afternoon for extradition proceedings. The 30-year-old has been in jail awaiting a court hearing after he turned himself in to police on Saturday.  Woodrome faces multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping in New Mexico.

He was indicted last year and never showed up to answer to the charges. Instead, New Mexico authorities believed he had fled to Guam.  The Attorney General's Office is now waiting for the paperwork to begin the extradition process.

He remains behind bars and will be back in court on October 28.
