Guam - Hoping to get the latest information on what's happening at the island's only civilian hospital, Healthcare Committee chairman Senator Dennis Rodriguez, Jr. will hold an oversight hearing for the Guam Memorial Hospital this week. The lawmaker specifically wants to hear about the hospital's efforts to retain accreditation and certification with the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The senator will also be seeking more information about the proposed 32-hour workweek and the status of pharmaceuticals, supplies, paying vendors and enhancing revenues.
The oversight hearing will be held this Tuesday at 6:30 in the evening at the GMH Education Classroom on the fourth floor.
