Guam - Hubtec International Corporation and its president, Young Kim, pleaded not guilty to federal charges related to the Route 2 Road Construction Project today. Kim and the corporation are charged with 4 counts of wire fraud, 7 counts of making a false statement in connection with a highway project and a single count of major fraud against the United States. The contractor was terminated after the Guam Department of Public Works discovered they were using foreign steel material on a federally funded project.

Kim was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond and ordered to surrender his green card and any passports.  His trial is set for July 5.
