Guam - In light of all the concerns raised by teachers, the Guam Education Board will begin meeting with stakeholders at the respective schools to hear their concerns with the 4-AB schedule.  Simon Sanchez High School teachers will be heard on May 31.

GEB member Barry Mead says they want input but the new schedule was a result of dropouts, failures and low SAT scores.  He adds the long-term idea is to restructure grade levels from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Mead says the board is considering making elementary school Kindergarten through 6th grade, middle schools 7th through 9th grade, and high schools 10th through 12.
