One killed, six injured in Yigo crash

Guam - The Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division is investigating a two-car collision that resulted in one traffic fatality and sent ten people to the hospital. The crash occurred before 3pm on Sunday.
Acting GPD spokesperson Sergeant Mike Aguon says a 2008 Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Marine Corps Drive when it collided with a Chevy Suburban making a left turn on to Tun Jose Diego Road. Medics transported ten people to Naval Hospital.
Sgt. Aguon says a 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead. Five U.S. Marines were riding in the Nissan and six people, including the woman who died, were riding in the Chevy. The Marines are stable at Naval Hospital and a civilian is at the Guam Memorial Hospital.
GPD continues to investigate the crash.
