Guam - If you plan to attend the Liberation Day Parade, make sure to also bring valid ID if you want to register to vote in Decision 2012. Voter registration will be open from 10:30am-12:30pm and the Decolonization Registry will be open from 9am-3pm at Senator Ben Pangelinan's Office along the parade strip.

As for the weather, the National Weather Service it will be typical of July - mostly cloudy with gentle east winds. There may be a brief heavy shower possible at any time. And if winds are light enough there could also be a thunderstorm during the late morning and afternoon, so bring and umbrella and wear lots of sunscreen.

Also regarding the election, if you plan on attending the parade or need to drive through Hagatna, take note that the parade route will be closed to all vehicular traffic except official and authorized vehicles beginning at 7am Saturday - it will not reopen until two hours after the parade ends.

In the meantime, the Guam EPA in partnership with the i-Recycle Program need your help. They are looking for volunteers to help recycle during the parade by collecting aluminum cans and plastic bottles. You can sign up to help out at the recycling tent that will be set up near the GCIC Building anytime tomorrow between 7 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.

And finally, as for the fireworks show - it will be held at the carnival grounds in Tiyan starting at 9pm tomorrow night. Make sure to get their early to secure a good spot.
