Guam - If you receive an e-mail message purporting to seek an upgrade on your BankPacific account, don't be duped.  The bank is warning its customers of a fraudulent e-mail that claims that their online banking access is no longer in their data and to login.

BankPacific officials warn that the email includes a false link for the recipient to logon.  The bank issued a statement saying that BankPacific never requests bank account information or sensitive information via telephone or unsecure e-mail.

Anyone who may have responded to the e-mail is asked to contact BankPacific's compliance and security officer John McKinnon at 479-1196.
