Tenorio/Muña-Barnes kickoff campaign with motorcade & rally

More than a thousand cars rolled through an islandwide motorcade sunday as supporters gathered in Hagåtña for the first rally of the Tenorio/Muña-Barnes gubernatorial ticket.

More than a thousand cars rolled through an islandwide motorcade sunday as supporters gathered in Hagåtña for the first rally of the Tenorio/Muña-Barnes gubernatorial ticket. Campaign organizers estimate about 2,000 people attended the event. 

Lt  Governor Josh Tenorio told the spoke to the crowd, "Tina and I we are not running to see what happens, we re running because we have the vision to keep the momentum going of thee past 7 years going forward."

Running mate Sen. Tina Muña-Barnes described supporters as “family,” "Looking out at the thousands of you today seeing your smiles hearing your kind words, i know what we've built is a family. Familia!"

Muña-Barnes said, "our island has been at her strongest when we band together."

They’re up against democrats senator Joe San Agustin and former senator Dwayne San Nicolas in the primary. Under the republican ticket are Vice Speaker Tony Ada and businessman EJ Calvo and the duo of Speaker Frank Blas, Jr. and former GCC president Dr. Mary Okada.
