Guam - Ronnie Sevilla Analista was sentenced to 120 months behind bars for his involvement in drug trafficking on Guam.   District Court Chief Judge Frances Tydingco Gatewood said it was clear that Analista was involved in a very "sophisticated drug operation with co-conspirators" and it appeared he was in charge.  Analista apologized to the court for what he had done and asked that he be allowed to self-surrender to authorities when a facility had been designated by the Bureau of Prisons.

The judge expressed concerns said Analista faces the mandatory minimum of ten years behind bars due to a prior drug conviction.  He was ordered to report to the U.S. Marshals on Saturday.  The judge also recommended he undergo a drug treatment program while in prison.

Upon release, he will be placed on eight years supervised release.
