Public Health monitoring rubella in Japan

Public Health is monitoring an outbreak of rubella, also known as German Measles, in Japan. As of March 21, there were over 2,000 reported cases.

Guam - Public Health is monitoring an outbreak of rubella, also known as German Measles, in Japan. As of March 21, there were over 2,000 reported cases. Rubella is moderately contagious. Symptoms include mild fever, rash, runny nose, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes and aching joints. Parents are encouraged to review your child's immunization records and if you plan on traveling to Japan make sure you've been vaccinated for rubella.
