The Department of Public Health is helping families get ready for the new school year, focusing on what matters most: Your child’s health.

DPHSS is hosting back-to-school in-reach clinics at community health centers, offering school-required vaccinations, physical exams, and select adult immunizations.

These services are available for children ages four to 18, regardless of insurance status, with a focus on making care accessible and stress-free for families.

Adults can also take advantage of vaccines including flu, tdap, hepatitis b, and pneumococcal shots.

Clinics will be held in both northern and southern regions, including Dededo and Inalåhan, on select Saturdays in May and July from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Officials say preparing for school goes beyond supplies, and starts with a healthy foundation for student success.
