Senior centers and adult day care facilities across Guam will remain closed as recovery efforts continue following Typhoon Sinlaku. The Department of Public Health and Social Services announced all centers will stay shut down through Friday, April 17, citing ongoing restoration needs.

Officials say services will not resume until both power and water are fully restored—ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and staff.

DPHSS adds it is continuing to assess conditions across all service areas and will provide updates as recovery progresses.
