The Department of Public Health and Social Services’ Division of Senior Citizens is adjusting services as recovery continues across Guam following typhoon sinlaku.

Beginning today, April 20:

• Adult day care services will operate at the ADC Dementia Wusstig facility and ADC South

• ADC Central (Macheche) remains without power, with clients temporarily relocated to continue care

Senior centers remain closed at this time and will reopen once power and water are restored.

Congregate meal services will shift to grab-and-go at designated sites for seniors with transportation, while those using title iii services will receive home-delivered meals until normal operations resume.

Officials say these adjustments are aimed at ensuring continued access to care and support for Guam’s senior community during recovery.
