Guam - Ten people were hoisted from the waters of Outer Apra Harbor by the Navy HSC25 helicopters. According to U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam's Lt. William White they received a report at around 5:30 this evening of a Japanese flagged vessel that began taking on water just outside Apra Harbor. He said the vessel eventually ran aground on the reef. Two Coast Guard vessels were dispatched to provide assistance. The ten people who were on board were found in the water and were pulled out of the water by the Navy's HSC25 crew. The ten people were transported to Naval Hospital. There conditions are unknown, however Lt. White said one person suffered lacerations. As for the vessel it remains aground on the reef and is being monitored by the Coast Guard.
