Five arrested after theft ring uncovered at Guam Airport

Guam - The Airport Police have uncovered a theft ring. Five people airport police responding to reports of missing property uncovered. A crime ring involved in theft of property, which resulted in the arrest of five individuals with possibly more pending. According to a press release from the Guam International Airport Authority, they had been receiving several inquiries into lost and found items and reports of missing property from passengers and users of the airport terminal facility.
GIAA acting executive manager Roy Martinez says a group of tenant employees who were in possession of many of the missing items, some high in value were discovered by the Airport Police. Martinez adds, "We are committed to protecting our passengers, employees, and the public from any type of infringement or breach. We take these things seriously and these crimes have federal and local consequences punishable by law."
Arrested were 28-year-old J-Lyn Sakios, 33-year-old Carmelita Soris, 20-year-old Kyle Aguero, 34-year-old Angela Herman, and 21-year-old Nancy Hasugmang. All were charged with theft of property, theft of property lost, theft by receiving stolen property, and theft of property held in trust.
