by Sabrina Salas Matanane
Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo has appointed Colonel Roderick R. Leon Guerrero as the new Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard. The appointment follows the retirement of Major General Benny Paulino. According to Governor Calvo under Major General Paulino's leadership the Guam National Guard Readiness Center has seen more than $50 million in new facilities. He added that under Paulino's watch Guam Guardsmen received accolades and were well received wherever their deployments led them because of the high-level of training, professional, and dedication to their island and country. Although the governor says he's sad to see the Major General leave, he's glad however to know the person who will be assuming the responsibilities is more than capable of taking the Guard to the next level. Colonel Leon Guerrero has served the island and nation for almost three decades.
