Parents leave baby in car outside Rev & Tax
The Guam Police Department is investigating a case involving a seven month old baby boy left in a car in the parking lot of the Department of Revenue and Taxation this afternoon. According to police spokesperson Capt. Kim Santos at around 12:15 this afternoon a man had walked into GPD's Highway Patrol Division Office located inside DRT and reported that he saw a baby in his car seat inside a Toyota Rav Four in the parking lot.
He said the infant was crying and sweating profusely.
The officers went outside and found the child. The windows were slightly opened. The parents were also located. They were a 21-year-old female and a 22-year-old male. The baby was transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital,where the child was treated and released. Santos says the case remains open.
No arrests have been made at this time.
