Sen. Therese Terlaje will be holding an oversight of her own on issues related to the Department of Corrections erroneous releases, but she wants to hear from the Judiciary of Guam.

The committee chair on Justice specifically wants answers on the Judiciary's computer systems and how it communicates with DOC's database system as it relates to commitment and release orders from the court.

Additionally, Sen. Terlaje is seeking answers as to how warrants of arrest are executed and prioritized. You may recall during the arraignment hearing of Yona Mayor Jesse Blas, an FBI agent testified about an active investigation that was underway into superior court marshals who were having sex with women who had active warrants. The oversight hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m.
