He tried to stop a woman from calling the police after he threatened and then allegedly assaulted a her. And once the police came, 29-year-old Clayton Smith was arrested, but it took some effort.

 Court documents state he was fighting with one victim in a home and then went upstairs to tell the second victim he wanted her to leave. Fearing Smith would hit her again, the second victim tried to call the police. That's when he tried to grab her phone. While the first victim tried to get in between the two, Smith allegedly punched the second victim and then dragged her by her feet her at the top of the stairs. The first victim then called the police.

When they arrived, Smith refused to surrender, barricading himself behind a door. Police had to kick down the door and use a taser to arrest him.

He was charged with Interfering with the Reporting of Family Violence, two counts of Family Violence, Violation of a Court Order, Resisting Arrest and Harassment.

Smith did have an Order of Conditional Release and Appearance Bond from another case and was ordered to stay away from the first victim.

According to KUAM News files, he was arrested in September after trying to get a woman to leave a Tumon night club. He then allegedly kicked and damaged the club's glass doors. After he was arrested, he was also was accused of damaging the surveillance camera from a prison cell.
