On Friday, officers from the Guam Police Department responded to a Beyond Control complaint. According to GPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Tapao, through the course of the investigation, officers learned that a 13-year-old female minor, was dropped off at her home by a male unknown to the family.

Preliminary reports suggest that the female minor met 31-year-old, Zachary Ryan Wood through social media. Investigators also learned that the female minor was sexually assaulted three times. DART investigators were able to locate Wood where he was transported to GPD Headquarters in Tiyan. Wood was arrested for the following offenses: 1st and 2nd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, Jurisdiction Over an Adult, Custodial Interference and Unlawful Restraint.
