Some may have experienced a slight delay in receiving their Pandemic Unemployment Assistance payments.

The Labor Department reports it might've been due to the long Memorial Day weekend, but spokesperson Hannah Cho said everything should be back on track.

"But we did successfully batch $17.9 million of which $9.1 million is PUA, $8.8 is in FPUC and the lost wages assistance," she said. "We will be batching again, not this Tuesday but the following Tuesday and so far things seem to be running smoothly. As my director has said, the batch amount seems to be steadily decreasing as people are getting back to work."

Cho said GDOL is starting to shift toward helping the workforce in their search for employment. She adds that PUA recipients will be required to provide information about their job search as soon as next month.
