After switching classes to online for two weeks, due to COVID-19, most of Guam’s Catholic schools will return to on-site learning this Monday.

Archdiocese of Agana schools shifted to remote learning last January 20 and 24 for most grade levels to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Archdiocese of Agana Office of Catholic Education announced Saturday afternoon on the statuses of each school.

Academy of Our Lady of Guam, Bishop Baumgartner Memorial Catholic School, Dominican Catholic School in Yigo, Father Duenas Memorial School, Notre Dame High School, St. Anthony Catholic School, and Santa Barbara Catholic School will return for face-to-face instruction on Monday, Feb. 7.

St. Francis Catholic School will continue distance learning for the next two weeks.

San Vicente Catholic School will return to face-to-face instruction on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Superintendent of Catholic Education Father Val Rodriguez had announced that February 7 would be the targeted date to return to on-site learning upon assessment of islandwide conditions.

Parents and school communities have been informed about the decision to return through their communication systems.
