David Ben Gogue Cruz, 31, was arrested after a complaint was filed for sexual abuse on March 30. The Guam Police Department’s Domestic Abuse Response Team met with the minor victim where she alleged she was sexually assaulted numerous times by Cruz between January 2019 and December 2019. 

Court documents state Cruz used to date a relative of the victim and that she was too afraid to tell anyone what was happening.  

Cruz was charged with two counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct as a first-degree felony and one count of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct as a first-degree felony.
