In Decision 2022 news, Guam residents can begin voting for the Primary Election on July 28 at the Westin Resort’s Mezzanine level. From July 28 to August 19, the Guam Election Commission will be holding registering and early voting sessions on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10am to 6pm .

GEC Executive Director Maria Pangelinan explained that they want the registering and voting process to be convenient for all residents of the island.  "Accessible voting will take place in the in the lobby level of the parking structure. So we will have that going.  Accessible voting will be only for those persons with disabilities and the elderly who cannot walk into the mezzanine. We’re trying to find many way to make it so that it's comfortable for all our voters to get to the mezzanine level. We will also try to have transport from the Westin resort parking structure," she told KUAM Nes.

For those who cannot attend on weekdays, the GEC is holding three Saturday sessions from 10am to 3pm.

The scheduled locations are July 30th at Okkodo High School, August 6 at the University of Guam Calvo Field House , and August 13th at Merizo Martyrs Elementary school.

To ensure the ability to vote, Pangelinan shared important deadlines for residents to be aware of.  "So the last day to register to vote for the primary election is August 17. August 17 is also the last day to transfer your village. So if you moved since you know since when you registered last. You need to transfer by August 17 for both the primary and the general," Pangelinan added.

The primary election is set for August 27.
