Man arrested for Dededo Center stabbing death, four others in custody

Police have identified the victim of the early Monday morning stabbing death at the Dededo Center. One man has been arrested for his murder, and four others are in custody in connection to the attack.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Kifirstson Kam Aikem of Dededo. Police say he was attacked by a group of men during a riot outside the Dededo Center on the corner of Marine Corps Drive and Wusstig Road. Officers responded about 1:30am and found Aikem lying in the parking lot with multiple puncture wounds to his body.
He was rushed to Guam Regional Medical City where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Criminal investigators last night arrested 31-year-old Samson Ismael Shapucy of Yigo for aggravated murder, aggravated assault, use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony, rioting, disorderly conduct and public drunkeness. He's currently confined at the Agana Detention Facility.
Four other men were also arrested: 21-year-old Son Joe, 21-year-old Dero Isty, and 19-year-old Allison Joe. Police say the men had been removed from a nearby bar for disruptive behavior.
They confronted the victim, who was not at the bar, and attacked him in the parking lot. The four other men were charged with aggravated assault, assault, rioting, disorderly conduct, public drunkeness, reckless conduct, hindering apprehension.
A fourth man, 51-year-old Cyrus Joanes Matthias, was arrested for aggravated assault, assault, rioting and disorderly conduct.
All four men were booked and are confined at the Department of Corrections.
Late this afternoon, more details of the assault by Samson Shapucy were contained in a magistrate's complaint. It alleged that a fight started in a bar at the Dededo plaza and some of the men went to the parking lot to retrieve a "Hawaiian sling", which is a three-foot spear. Shapucy reportedly saw the victim, Aikem, by his vehicle and asked him, "What are you looking at?"
When the victim tried to get into his vehicle, but he was attacked and Shapucy allegedly used the Hawaiian sling to spear Aikem several times. According to the complaint, Shapucy also identified himself in surveillance video as one of the men who was beating the victim while he was on the ground.
