A man accused of molesting a boy known to him for about a decade denied the allegations filed against him in the Superior Court of Guam.

Thirty-two-year-old Ryan Joshua Cruz is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct

Cruz pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Judge Jonathan Quan today.

He waived his speedy trial rights.

Court documents state, the child, now 17, told police Cruz started molesting him when he was about four or five years old.

The alleged abuse stopped only after the boy turned 13.

Cruz allegedly denied the allegations when questioned by police, adding the victim’s family is jealous of him and calls him a molester.
