Hundreds of students from across the island gathered for St. Johns School’s Guam college fair on Wednesday. Representatives from various colleges and universities around the nation spoke with students about the application process and financial aid.

School officials told KUAM News the event was coordinated with the help of their National Honor Society students. Its success is a big deal as it’s the first college fair in the fall since the pandemic.

Colleges and universities in attendance included the University of Guam, Guam Community College, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Chaminade University of Honolulu, University of San Francisco, Saint Martin’s University, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Army West Point and the U.S. Air Force Academy.

School officials say the college fair is one avenue for students to explore their options. And for everyone to remember that one way to serve the island is to use their education for the betterment of the whole population.
