Two crimes caught on tape, two men arrested.

Thomas Villagomez Matsunaga Jr., 21 was  charged with Theft of Property and Attempted Theft while Christian Jude Mendiola was charged with Complicity to Commit Theft and Complicity to Commit Attempted Theft. 

Court documents state Matsunaga was seen on surveillance footage entering a garage at a Barrigada home and stealing a gas container, tools and laundry soap. The crime happened on the morning of Jan. 9. 

Later that evening, Matsunaga was seen on camera at another home trying to steal a speaker from the garage. 

Police were able to identify Matsunaga who said Mendiola was driving around with him while he was looking to make money for gas, court documents state. And after he was told of his charges, Matunaga allegedly said, "I shouldn't have done it."
