Pair arrested after drugs, gun found

Two cars parked beside eachother at a Barrigada store led to the arrest of two people.
According to a magistrate's complaint, on Jan. 23, 39-year-old Julian Jason Velasco Borja was the driver of the first car and the only occupant. Police allegedly found a digital scale, a bundle of clear plastic baggies a inside his center console and a heat-modified glass pipe with residue that tested positive for meth wrapped in tissue under the driver's seat. An airsoft pellet gone also was found in the car.
Court documents state Borja is currently on probation for drug possession. He was charged with Possession of a a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of a a Schedule II Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver.
In the other car, 49-year-old Bryan Ray Baza Bautista was found in the rear passenger seat. Court documents state a bag was found with a loaded semi-automatic pistol under a seat. Bautista is on pretrial release for gun possession, court documents state. He was charged with Possession of a Firearm without an Identification Card with a notice of felony while on felony release and Possession of an Unregistered Firearm.
Police noted a woman who had entered the car Bautista was in had an ID card in the passenger's seat of Borja's car, court documents state.
