Police on the hunt for Route 16 game room robber

It was a frightening moment this week for those inside the Winster II Game Room.

Guam Police Department officers responded late Tuesday after a masked man stormed into the building, pointed a handgun at a worker, and demanded cash.

The game room is located off Route 16 in Dededo just around the corner from the Micronesia Mall.

Police investigators learned the robber pointed a gun at a worker demanding money while shoving the worker.

The suspect getting away with a large amount of money. Authorities have not yet confirmed how much cash was taken.

Police say the victim was checked at the scene by medics with the Guam Fire Department, but did not suffer from any serious injuries.

The gunman is described as being male, possibly local, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 145 and 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black face mask, black hooded sweater, and beige pants.   

The suspect was also last seen running toward the back of the building.

Officers had checked the residential area but had no luck finding him.

Now, police are asking the community for help.
