Destiny Cruz is one of the newest members of team KUAM, though she is no stranger to the realm of broadcast news. Her diverse background in TV news and entertainment spans over four years.

She first got her start as a weather personality and television host in 2019, before leveling up in her career to work as a reporter and news anchor. Destiny’s strengths lend themselves to feature pieces—highlighting the meaningful stories within Guam and the region: centering on the voices of those navigating life-altering diseases, mental health advocates, and champions of the arts.

Destiny is an anchor for KUAM’s Primetime News and primarily covers the education beat.

Outside of the newsroom, Destiny is a singer/songwriter, a dog mom of two, and a former Miss World Guam.
