Guam International Airport Authority management confirmed they are looking into an incident involving the fire chief.
Chief Raymond Mantanona and another unnamed airport firefighter were placed on administrative leave.
It comes as an internal affairs investigation is underway following an apparent incident involving the pair.
The allegations surfaced on Tuesday.
Details of what unfolded between the chief and his employee have not been made public.
KUAM reached out to Mantanona for comment.
Airport Executive Manager JQ Quinata tells KUAM News the agency has no comment at this time.
