FSM lifts COVID vaccine mandate for travelers
If you’re traveling to the Federated States of Micronesia you no longer have to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Over the weekend, FSM President Wesley Simina signed a new public law lifting the COVID-19 vaccine as a requirement for all travelers entering the FSM.
However, the new law transfers the authority for such restrictions to be reinforced by the Secretary of the Department of Public Health, who can create regulations to require COVID vaccines for entry if necessary.
The move comes nearly three years after the COVID-19 pandemic started.
