Ceremony held to honor the 229 people killed in Korean Airlines crash
Remembering the lives lost 26 years ago, the community gathered at the site of the Korean Air Flight 801 crash on Sunday in Nimitz Hill. Multiple Government of Guam leaders and families of the victims attended the ceremony.
It's all to remember and honor the 229 lives lost in the crash back on August 6, 1997.
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero stating "we honor the memory of those lost that day while cherishing the strengthened bond shared between our two countries that we see today."
