Guam’s only gastroenterologist now at the Guam Memorial Hospital

As speciality healthcare remains a critical void to fill on the island, a Guam native returns to his roots, serving as the island’s sole gastroenterologist at the Guam Memorial Hospital.  Dr. Paul Muna Aguon joins the GMH team following the completion of a rigorous fellowship at the renowned Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

He also holds several awards for his work, including the 2022 Presidential Poster Award.

As Guam’s only gastroenterologist, Muna Aguon will service patients facing gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreaticobiliary issues at GMH's Outpatient Gastroenterology Speciality Clinic, located on the 2nd floor adjacent to the ICU.

A referral from your primary doctor is required for patients seeking consultation with Dr. Paul.
