Cafeteria issues force students to eat outside
Today marks their first day of the new school year in a new environment-- Upi Elementary students on an alternating school schedule with D.L. Perez serving as a host campus.
And adding to the list of adjustments, these little ones at Upi Elementary also seemingly had to adapt from eating breakfast inside a cafeteria to taking their meals in the hallway.
Photos sent to KUAM News show children lining the halls as the school’s cafeteria allegedly has to be shut down for a couple of days.
We reached out to Guam Department of Education spokesperson Michelle Franquez for an explanation. We have yet to receive that information.
